Building on the many years of experience acquired as the undisputed world leader in the field of closed circuit washing systems, Union is pleased to present the new range of SDM Series machines for cleaning polyurethane shoe soles.
The SDM range is ideal for companies requiring effective cleaning in a high production environment and is characterized by the fully automatic loading and unloading system. Machines are completely closed circuit, with continuous automatic filtration and double vacuum distillation of the solvent.
The range comprises two models for different throughput requirements and using different types of solvent. Machines utilise either chlorinated solvent or alternatives such as hydrocarbons or modified alcohols (denoted as ‘H’ models) based on the type of soles to be washed, the material of the sole and the treatment required downstream of cleaning.
In designing the SDM machines, particular attention was paid to:
- Optimization of operating costs by adopting innovative heat recovery systems.
- The use of high quality stainless steel components.
- Improvement of the washing performance.
- Utilising available technology to improve operator safety and minimise environmental impact.
